High Buyer Demand in Central Fairfax County

Debbie Dogrul
Feb 6 2 minutes read

Home buyers in Fairfax County have been anxiously waiting for the start of the new year, hoping that the post-holiday timeline will mean more sellers are putting their homes for sale.  As we enter in to the last week of January however, we are seeing housing inventory levels remain low.

As of January 23, 2017; Annandale, Burke and Springfield, Virginia all have LESS than 1.5 months of supply of homes available for sale.  Fairfax, Virginia houses for sale hovers just below 2 months supply; while Falls Church and Lorton Virginia are near 2.5 months supply.

What this means for prospective home sellers is that serious buyers are out and houses are selling now.

Selling now versus selling in the Spring can mean different timelines and different strategies for you.  To speak with a Listing Specialist about the best plan to meet your real estate goals, give us a call or schedule a no obligation consultation below.
